Morningside Elementary Odyssey of the Mind team has earned the opportunity to attend the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Michigan State University!
This team has been working together since they were in 2nd grade. In 2nd grade they won an OMer award for their teamwork at the state finals.
In 3rd grade they placed 2nd at the regional finals and 4th at state. In 4th grade they placed 1st at the regional finals and 7th in the state.
Finally, this year in 5th grade, they earned a special Renatra Fusca award at regionals and placed 3rd out of the 20 best teams in the state of Florida.
Now we must get them to the WORLD FINALS in Michigan.
