Donor Privacy Policy
The St. Lucie County Education Foundation values the trust of its donors and protects the information they share. This policy describes how we handle donor information and supplements our Privacy Policy.
Information we collect from donors
When you make a gift, we may collect your name, contact information, and the amount and date of your donation. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not collect or store your full payment-card number.
How we use donor information
- Process your gift and send you a receipt and acknowledgement.
- Keep accurate financial records and meet our tax and reporting requirements.
- Communicate with you about the Foundation and the impact of your support, unless you ask us not to.
We do not sell or share donor lists
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share our donors' personal information with other organizations for their own marketing or solicitation. We share it only with service providers who help us process gifts and operate the Foundation, and as required by law.
Your choices
- You may ask us to stop contacting you, or to limit how we contact you, at any time.
- You may request that your gift be anonymous, or that your name not appear in any donor recognition.
- You may ask us to review, correct, or remove your information, subject to records we are required to keep by law.
